SoftBank Robotics Group Establishes Global Partnership with Gaussian Robotics

SoftBank Robotics Group Corp. (“SBRG”), a worldwide leader in robotics solutions, announced today that it established a global partnership with Gaussian Robotics.

As part of the global partnership, fully automatic commercial floor-cleaning robot "Scrubber 50" will be launched in Japan in January 2022 in response to increasing demand for cleaning robots, such as maintaining the cleanliness in various facilities under COVID-19 situation.
Scrubber 50 is the product with 1,500 units already installed in 30 countries around the world, with a total cleaning distance of 50 million square meters and a total cleaning time of 30 million hours.

Going forward, SBRG and Gaussian Robotics will work together to expand the use of cleaning robots to various locations, such as office buildings, hotels, hospitals, and schools, allowing a more efficient cleaning process.
