However, there is also a developer blog that has been running for longer than our blog, and it has tons of resources for those who already own our robots. We, however, would like to encourage those that wish to learn what goes in the backend with our robots and also understand a little deeper some of the programming parts. CARESSES is a program launched in Europe to better understand and future proof robots in caretaking, and the upcoming older generations will be extremely diverse culturally. This article explains the conception of the program and discusses the collaborative study conducted funded by the European Commission and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication in Japan. SBRE along with several partners across Europe and Japan tackled a project that analyzed the future of robotics in caregiving and the implementation of culturally sensitive and aware AI in robots. It is technical in a few places but it is definitely something simple to understand and an article that the general public can understand. High recommendation!
