This week we’re celebrating women in tech! SoftBank Robotics, along with Pepper, are thrilled to be a part of the Grace Hopper robotics workshop this Friday, October 21st! Attendees will get a chance to learn programming for Pepper, with a special twist on emotions and artificial intelligence.
This event is part of the Grace Hopper Conference: the world’s largest technical conference for women in computing. Every year, women technologists and the best minds in computing convene to highlight the contributions of women to computing. The Anita Borg Institute co-presents GHC with the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).
The conference results in collaborative proposals, networking and mentoring for our attendees. Conference presenters are leaders in their respective fields, representing industry, academia and government. The conference also offers professional development through a variety of activities, including the robotics workshop!
If you are attending, remember to download and test Choregraphe on your laptop before the date, so you can code along with us! Choregraphe includes a virtual robot and visual programming environment for NAOqi-compatible robots (NAO, Pepper).Download Choregraphe here.
