Company Name Change

SoftBank Robotics Group Corp. announced that it changed its company name from SoftBank Robotics Holdings Corp. on November 1, 2016.

SoftBank Robotics Holdings Corp. was established as an intermediate holding company within the SoftBank Group to oversee robotics businesses. Under the SoftBank Group’s corporate philosophy of ‘Information Revolution – Happiness for everyone’, companies managed by SoftBank Robotics Holdings offered Pepper the robot and robotics-related products and services.

With this company name change, SoftBank Robotics Group Corp. will oversee its robotics businesses both in Japan and abroad with even greater levels of collaboration while promoting the development of each operating company.
